Boiler manufacturers require existing heating systems to be chemically flushed when a new boiler is fitted. This is done by power flushing which uses a powerful pump to flush cleaners through the system to remove any deposits that have built up over the years. Failure to do this at the time of the boiler installation could invalidate the manufacturers guarantee.
Power flushing can also be very effective on systems which are no longer operating efficiently due to sludge build up.
